Cloth Diapering

Another reason to lock the diaper bin

So, I happen to glance at the washer while the initial rinse is running, and what do I see tumbling in there along with my diapers? That's right, a tube of Aveeno hydrocortisone cream with the cap off! Don't know how DS managed to sneak that one in there.

Keeping my fingers crossed that this doesn't cause my diapers to repel.

  • :(

FWIW hydro cortisone seems to be thinner than some of the others... so maybe it's more water-soluable?

  • There are no spots ... just an entire load of diaper laundry that was potentially coated in a few tablespoons of the stuff.

Yeah, just looking at the ingredients I think it was mostly water soluble. Fingers crossed!
  • If most of the ingredients are water soluble I would probably add an extra hot rinse, but you should be good.
