I *think* we have the winners...

 We are expecting 2 more pink babies!  Both of my DD's have family names in the middle name spot. Cecily Frances & Eden Josephine.

I had previously posted about using my father in laws name in the middle name spot for one of the new DD's. His name is James and his middle name is Elliott. So...I think we have found 2 names we have agreed on (always subject to change!) as I am so indecisive this pregnancy!

Do you think this sibset flows well? Cecily, Eden, Penelope & Maren?

I think those names are really cute. The are definitely on trend though - using boy names as middles. You'll get a lot of push back here, but I love them both! Maren is lovely and Penelope James is great!

I am not usually a fan of boy names used on girls even in the middle name spot but these are our last babies and I really want to honor my father in law (he's so special to me!)

I love them! It might be my southern blood talking, but I don't see a problem with surnames or traditionally male names in the MN spot, or even sometimes for FNs. I know two little girls named Lucy James and Mary Lawrence, who occasionally even go by both names, and I'm fine with that.

Also like Maren and Penelope, and I think the flow is great, and they fit well with your existing daughters.

I'll be the odd man out- I don't Eden with Maren (same ending, 2 syllables) and I don't love Cecily with Penelope (same e ending and 3 syllables). I'm being picky, I guess.

I LOVE them! I am one of the few in the camp of being okay with boys names on girls, and I think these names paired with sweet feminine first names is a wonderful way to honor your father. Good job Mama!

Love all your names! I agree that mn spots are perfect for honoring family and are free to use a name or style you typically wouldn't. Your names go amazing with the boy names you have. Great sibset all around. Congrats!

I plan on using James for our second hypothetical baby's middle name, male or female. It is my father's name.

ETA: I love Penelope and Maren is growing on me.

Funny you say that because that is actually the reason I did choose them! I like that they "match" syllables without being "matchy"
