Diastasis repair during repeat c-section?

Has anyone done this, or has your doctor mentioned repairing your diastasis after the baby Is delivered. I've heard that some doctors will do the repair as far as they can reach from the incision. If you have, or know of someone who has, was the recovery a lot worse?
