Rando Question about Escrow Accounts

So I was going through giant piles of paper this evening and came across an unopened envelope from Wells Fargo. Inside was a fairly large escrow overage check but it has expired (it was issued 5/10/13), I plan on having Bertrude call on Monday (it was his envelope after all) buuuuut, will they reissue it?? Can we just deposit it? Am I SOL?

They will probably reissue one (if there is a clear expiration date/"expires in 60 days" on the check its unlikely you'll be able to deposit it).  I would definitely call tomorrow though; also like pp said if they don't reissue one the $$ will likely stay in your account for next year.  Woo! money!
