My shower. The warm water on my back is incredible. Not feeling gross down under from discharge. Life would be better. Anybody else have a happy place?

I love the shower, but it's more work than enjoyment now with being careful about my C-section area.

Right now would be anywhere I'm in active labor. MW altered of intense contractions. Cleaning my ass off. Almost afraid to get into my normal happy place, the bath, don't wanna slow progress.

Been feeling like it doesn't feel like Christmas here even though we're only 1.5 weeks away. So last night I decided the place that feels most like Christmas is DHs grandma's house with all the family there. Given that that's in OH and LO will be just over a week old for Christmas...no dice this year. But that's my happy place.
