Hello all-
Sorry this is so quick and that it's taken me this long to even have time to post an update.
I'll try later on to post a full birth story

Pierce Henry was born Monday Dec 9 @ 5:37am at 30w2d gestation. He gave me quite a wild ride with his arrival, but he is doing well in the NICU.
His birth weight was 3lb 8 oz and 16 inches long.

The hospital I was transferred to after my water broke the previous Friday is almost an hour away and that is where my little prince will have to stay until possibly his due date of Feb 15.

It has been absolutely chaotic and I feel like I am doing the best I can to keep my head above water right now, physically, emotionally, mentally, but I've been able to see him every day since my release, thanks to many friends who have jumped in to stay with my older four.
I've been doing well with my pumping, but it's on the dot every 3 hours so I can continue building my supply.
I was able to hold him for the first time yesterday and it was absolute HEAVEN..
The internet at the hospital is iffy but I will try my best to write it all down to share.. It is quite a little story..

Oh my goodness! I very rarely post on here but I have followed your story and I am sorry your little guy came early but I am so happy to hear that you are both doing well! I truly hope that things continue to go well for you and I will keep you in my thoughts. Big hugs to you.

I'm so relieved to see an update.  I know we've all been thinking of you.   Congratulations on your little boy!  I hope he gets stronger by the minute and that he's home sooner than you expect.

So glad that you and baby are doing well.  Sorry that things are busy and a bit unsettled, as that tends to be what happens when things don't go as planned.  I'm sure the holidays creeping up certainly isn't helping any.  Hope that the larger hospital has a Ronald McDonald house that maybe you can utilize with your family to try to help keep everyone together during this difficult time.  Will be keeping you and your LO in my prayers, and look forward to your updates.

I've been checking in to see how you made out.  Glad to hear all is well.  What is with these boys and their need for dramatic entries lately   Hopefully your little guy will be like mine.  He came in with great drama but has been a very mellow and laid back little guy ever since. 

Glad to hear you have such a great support system.  I can't even imagine how hard it is to have to leave him at the hospital and then have other children at home that require your attention.  Still sending positive thoughts and support your way.

Congratulations! I hope all is well with you guys. Sorry things were and are tough. I have a friend who had a son born at 24 wks and he spent some time in the NICU but went home a few months ago and is thriving! Praying for you guys!

Thanks everyone! This has been a really tough week. I haven't been able to see him all week since one of my twins along with my oldest was sick on Monday and Tuesday I didn't have childcare available. Tuesday night I started feeling crappy and went to my PCP on Wed morning and was diagnosed with a mild case of pneumonia. So I've had to stay away from my little darling but have the all clear to finally go back tomorrow.
He's off his PICC line and is starting to maintain his body temp on his own. Finding the right oxygen levels have been and will be his biggest issues.
I pray every stays healthy on here and has a smooth remainder of your pregnancies.
I'll still be checking in from time to time

So glad to see this update and sorry things have been tough. Hope you are feeling better and you get to spend a lot of quality time with Pierce and he continues to do well and comes home soon.
