We took LO to a friends house for dinner the other day. Their son is 18 months old and 2 weeks ago they took all his pacifiers away because he got a bacteria around his mouth. Well it was a rough 2 weeks for him and his parents! When we were over DH accidentally knocked our carseat over and LO's pacifier rolled out. Oh heavens! Their son snatched it up faster than lightning and sucked on it for about a mili second before his mom saw it and started screaming "where did you find that??? I took them all away!!!!" DH said he looked like an addict trying to get his fix lol.

At Halloween my toddler who had about 40 words at the time and was enthralled with the new-to-her sweet substances, had an earnest conversation with the decorative skeleton, "babble, bibble, CANDY, dabble, dibble, CANDY." Based on her side of the conversation, the skeleton completely agreed.

We went to cut down our Christmas tree on Friday and my 2 1/2 year old was so excited about it. She was running around the house saying that it was the biggest and tallest tree she's ever seen.

We do live in a city, but I'm pretty sure she's seen trees bigger and taller than 6 ft. Lol. She also told me that we need a pink star to put on the top. I guess we are going to have to go buy one. Who can argue w that?
