Im back…. :)

Ok long story less long…. I came and joined the boards right after getting married in  May 2011. We decided to TTC right away and almost as quickly as the first month of my marriage went my hubby was asking for a divorce (3 months in) So naturally there was no TTC and of coarse I also disappeared from the boards.
Fast forward to now after a lot…..I am still married and believe it or not HAPPY. Very very happy. So after getting a good solid year behind us with no longer any thoughts of divorce and being as happy as ever we have decided to TTC. This is great because my husband would not consider the thought if he had a doubt in his mind…..it was a lot of work to get here but we are here.  

I am now 37. We have decided to TTC till my next bday. If it does not happen (naturally) we enjoy our lives childless….which I think we could do happily. I just think my husband needs to be a dad….he is great with kids and his nieces and nephews flock to him when he is around. He needs a child of his own. I am a photographer with a budding business and he is about to start the last leg of getting his masters (done in August) Im hoping the time is right and can get over my own insecurities of having a child this late. 

Anyway….thank you for taking a moment to read!

    Welcome an good luck. I hope you get your BFP before your birthday. I would suggest temping using fertility friend if you are not already. It helps you really know what your body is doing.

    welcome!  That is so great that you worked on your marriage and are in a good spot.  TTC can be very stressful on a marriage so starting with a strong foundation is so important!  Hope your stay is short!  Good luck!

    - poor responder
    ***Suprise BFP on 6/13/13. Natural MC @6wks 3days
    IVF#1 and 2- Cancelled due to no response on max stimms
    FET 5/20- BFP
    1st Beta- 641
    2nd beta- 2166
    Sono- TWINS!!!!
    Two Boys! Born January 2015 @36 weeks.  Healthy and no NICU!  So blessed!

    even if trying naturally I do really suggest temping and using opk. That way you at least make sure you are trying during the right time of month for you...and not what the books say :) and good luck, when is your birthday?

    Me: 41 DH: 46. We are TTC our 1st, started July '11,
    3 cycles clomid with Ob,
    1 cycle Tamoxifen with Ob,
    Diagnosed PCOS 11/5/12
    clomid, trigger & timed bd 12/12 BFN
    1st clomid IUI 1/4/13 BFN.
    2nd clomid IUI 2/13 cancelled didn't respond to clomid.
    3/15/13 scheduled laparoscopy & on bcp.

    May 10 IUI from injectibles - BFN 

    May 22 done with interventions it will either happen or it won't. 

    February 2014 No longer actively trying, but not preventing. 

    SURPISE BFP 4/2/2015!!!!!!!!!!

    Thanks for sharing your story about working through your marriage troubles - very inspiring and encouraging. 

    DH and I also started out committed to TTC naturally... thinking we'd just move on and enjoy a childfree life if it didn't happen. But somewhere along the way my clock started ticking-Loudly! I've been really wavering lately and getting impatient, so it's nice to hear from someone else who has the same mindset. :)  

    (as an aside... I don't want that comment to come off like I view TTC "naturally" as superior... it's just been a personal decision for us... and an approach which we are constantly reevaluating)

    Oh i see Im in good company!!!! Thank you for making me feel welcome! December was a bit busy for me so i wasn't on here really. I worked in retail and retail is crazy in December! Anyhow no BFP yet! 

    I have started temping! My bday is in August.

    April 2015: IVF #2.  Microdose Lupron protocol.  16R, 15M, 12F. Transferred 2 5-day blasts 4/12 and froze 4--BFP!  M/C 5/25/15
    August 2015: IVF #3.  14R, 13M, 11F.  Froze 5 blasts for CCS testing.  3 normals.  FET planned for 10/2015.
