Hi all!  I'm 32 weeks 3 days today!  I have 25 days left at the most before the c section.  I've noticed with the last few weeks as we get closer, i'm getting more anxious.   I just want these little guys to get here safe and sound.  I went to get monitored again this week due to decrease fetal movement.  Of course when I get there, the monitors show they are fine. Must be my crazy brain.  I started NST's last week.  I have a MFM appointment with NST and fluid check on Monday and an OB and NST on Thursday.  

QOTW:  I am sooooo superstitious with everything.  One thing for this pregnancy, another fellow bumpie and I exchanged lucky socks (she is in Germany, I am in NJ) and I have worn them to the ER and ET, and EVERY single appointment and ultrasound the whole pregnancy.  Plan on wearing them during the c section also.  I keep them in my purse, just incase I need them due to an emergency appt. lol.

I'm 28 weeks and still feeling pretty good most of the time although I'm having lots of tummy aches. I'm not really superstitious about anything. Next Friday is my glucose screen and then I start going every two weeks. Today DH and I went to check out daycares. I plan on taking 12 weeks leave and there are waiting lists at many places near us.

Due to the gestational diabetes, baby's size is on the big side and they want to get him out sooner than later. QOTW: I'm not superstitious but for some reason, I don't want the baby to be born today. Yesterday would have be fine and any time after tomorrow is fine, but today Friday the 13th, I don't know. Won't be my first choice. I guess this is my last check in. I'll let you know once baby boy makes his grand entrance!!

Hello ladies, may I be added to the list. I am 27 weeks today and due March 14th with a girl. Today I went to get a 3D u/s and my little girl did not want to show her face. Although, I did get to see her little fingers, peach fuzz on her head, her rump and lady parts. Soo.. I have to go back next week for another try to see if we can get some good face shots. Next week I am going in for my 1 hr glucose test, hopefully its not as gross tasting as people say.

QOTD: I am not superstitious.

Hi everyone,  

I'm 34w3d. And saw my OB yesterday for a regular appointment and NST and things are looking good. I have still been having contractions and they have picked up (like 20-30 a day) but they have not caused real cervical change. Also at this point they will not attempt to stop labor if it starts. I am seeing the OB weekly and next week will have a repeat NST and ultrasound to check the growth of the baby and fluid levels.

 QOTW: I am superstitious about a lot of things. As silly as it sounds, I kept feeling I would "jinx" my pregnancy if I said "when" instead of "if" things progress.

@richzep so excited for you! You are soooo close! Will be 31 weeks on Sunday. Feeling good. Back aches, especially my upper back if I sit in one spot too long. See mfm on Monday for growth and cervix check. Haven't done a thing to get nursery ready, starting to get overwhelmed in that dept. Weird superstition that my family believes...if you buy new shoes, and put them on the kitchen table ( like when you come home from shopping) they will pinch! If I see someone about to do it I freak. My whole family does...lol. My husband thinks we're nuts.

Hi Ladies,

I'm 32 weeks today and just got back from my check-up.  Everything seems good as far as we can tell.  I've got confirmation that I did indeed pass my 3 hr. GTT, baby's head is down (yay), and OB wants to send me to the MFM next week for a growth scan since I'm "deceptively larger than I look".  

My baby shower was on Sunday and it felt so good that people were there to celebrate the future LO and me.  I am in awe that some people spent so much on some gifts, when I'd thought that nobody cared.  The best gift was a gorgeous handmade quilt sewn by DH's best friend's wife.  I can't imagine how many hours and how much thought went into making it!

Last night, we attending a BF class at the hospital...what a waste.  2.5 hours of listening to a nurse ramble when it could have been done in 45 mins.  I almost fainted at one point while watching the video though; A few drops of milk came out of the mom's nipple and I wanted to hurl, started sweating and overheating.  Great, I can only imagine how I'll react when LO spits up for the first time...

ETA: QOTW: I can't think of a superstition in which I truly believe.

@jezabel57  I remember reading about your socks back in IF.  I can't believe you've been wearing them for each appt!  That's dedication!

lol.  i'm afraid to NOT wear them.  also, the ones i sent to her, she just finished her first cycle with them (she took a LONG break), and she just found out today she is pregnant with twins from that cycle.  she will be continuing the tradition i hope of wearing to each appointment lol.  She took pics of her wearing them at her ER/ET and sent them to me.  It's so amazing how TB can help bring people together.

That's awesome!  I remember that she's been through a really rough time and it's great that she'll be able to come over to PAIF now!

Any Updates?  Upcoming appointments?  I am 34 weeks. I had a scare this week, for early delivery, but so far so good. I have an ultrasound on Tuesday.

34 weeks yesterday and still no real updates. Have been feeling pretty rough off and on, but today is a good day! Have another check-up this coming Tuesday and I'm hoping to get to ask more questions about our possible C-section. If I don't have a follow-up u/s then, I will have one at 36 weeks just to make sure that the placent previa is still there. If so, I'm sure we'll schedule the C-section at that time...can't believe we'll meet our baby girl in less than a month!!!

Not really superstitious at all so today is just another day for me.

32w2d!!!!!!  I had my first BPP and NST done yesterday - haven't had an ultrasound in over 4 weeks at this point.  The exciting news is that Baby B FLIPPED and now BOTH babies are head down -  I honestly couldn't believe it.   I can't imagine she will flip back now - and I feel so good knowing that I can possibly attempt a vaginal delivery and I am not destined for a c-section.     Other than that - both babies looked great and are both over 4 lbs each. 

I am not superstitious - and I didn't even realize it was Friday the 13th until I read this post!!

33w5d - on hospital bed rest for the remainder of my PG. Possibly delivering Tuesday per my OB. MFM docs wanna wait longer if we can. I get two NST's a day, next u/s is Monday. My OB is out for the weekend, so he has his ccoverage who came in and was pleasant. I had a very emotional day today, I've been crying pretty much all day. Mfm doc pretty much said I'm in limbo until further notice. Dh is still being a complete jerk, I told him don't come see me today. My mom stayed with me last night, and we were able to walk to the cafeteria for lunch. She had to go home today but will be back tomorrow. I feel like I'm going into depression. I absolutely love my baby, and her arriving healthy is my main concern, but how do I stay sane in the meantime.

I'm usually not too superstitious but Friday the 13 is my scary day. Years ago I got into a bad car accident on Friday the 13 and each year I lay low on this day. Other than that, not too much.

 sorry you are having a rough time... it's got to be hard being stuck there, but the end is close!!!!   i'm sure baby girl will be perfectly fine and you will forget all the hours you were stuck there as soon as you see her.  if i had any energy i would volunteer to come visit since you are about an hour away, but i'd be afraid all the walking/activity would put ME on bed rest then i wouldn't be much fun at all! lol.  please know i'm thinking of you!

Hi Guys,

I was 32 weeks this past Tues. Everything is going pretty well, I see my OB next week for my regular appt. My biggest complaint has got to be having achy hands, especially my right, and they fall asleep easily at night.

Today is my shower!!!! I was a little nervous all week as the Northeast has been gearing up for a snowstorm that is hitting today, but it looks like a majority of it will fall overnight. Bummed, as one of my closest friends had to cancel since she would have to be traveling back to Philly tomorrow in the bad weather.

QOTW:
I am not too supersticious, but some one said to me recently "You must be so excited; new house, new baby!!" My response: "Don't jinx me!" Where did that come from? Feel like it's too good to be true!

Hi ladies!  I'd like to be added please.  I'll be 28 weeks tomorrow and my EDD is 3/9/14.  We're having a girl!
I have my glucose test on Monday and and u/s on Tuesday to make sure my placenta is moving up and away from my cervix.  I expect it to be fine since it had moved a bit already when I went in for my fetal echo at 22 weeks.  But I'm very excited to see LO again!
I don't consider myself superstitious, but I do do something every morning when my DH leaves for work.  I say to myself "drive safely, be careful, I love you."  It makes me feel like I'm doing something to make sure he has a safe day :-)
