super close!!!  my parents are done, DH's parents are half done... DH is done, DD is done... still have our niece, my sister (Secret Santa) and I think that's about it!  Woo!

I have most the buying and wrapping done, cookies are being baked today, house is almost decorated. BUT since I started forever ago I keep adding more, plus my house work is making me panic!

I was in good shape, got decorations out of the basement, them dh decided to install speakers in the ceiling, setting my plans back 3 days, then I got sick, so I'm at least a week behind now.

I'm almost done with my shopping, but my house is a disaster. I have a hole in the dinning room ceiling. I'm really hoping DH can fix it this weekend. There is no way it'll get painted by the time everyone comes. I'll settle for the hole being gone though.

Just finished Christmas baking for my family that we are going to go see this week. I'm bumping instead of packing though...soo.....not fully prepared.

I was really on top of getting things accomplished but then DH and I separated two weeks ago and I've been staying at my parents' house with DS since then. I work full time with late nights and have various appointments throughout the week so I've had very little to no downtime to get anything done! I'm only finished with my mom's gift. My dad's and 2 brothers' gifts are halfway done, but I haven't gotten anything for my SIL or any of DH's family yet.

I'm sorry about you and your H. I would probably let DH worry about his family. It sounds like you already have enough on your plate. Of course I don't know the situation, so my thoughts might not be helpful at all. Sending some weird internet hugs to you!

Picklesx I'm so sorry to hear that! I'd think people will understand if you don't buy gifts this year.

Thanks ladies. We are working toward reconciliation but it's definitely going to be a lot of work and a lot of time before we get back to a good place.
