Checking in on you and your little ladies. How are you doing? Hope recovery and the sibling transition is going well.
BFP #1 5/2010 - Missed m/c at 8 weeks BFP #2 2/2011 Baby G welcomed with love and relief 10/2011 Surprise BFP 1/8/2013...say what? Baby A arrived 9/2013
I had my 2 week pp appt yesterday and the doc said I am recovering well. I still have some pain just above my incision and asked him about it. It turns out that he makes the initial cut pretty low, then cuts through all the tissue stuff a little higher underneath. That explained so much!
DD#1 is super attached to DH and wants nothing to do with me. It hurts my heart as she kept pushing me away screaming "No, mommy! Daddy!!" last night while I was putting her to bed. I hate not being able to take care of her the way she needs/wants.
DD#2 has been up all night for the past few nights. All she wants to do is nurse every.single.second! She is also starting to get to the point where I cannot put her down for naps without her screaming bloody murder. I don't remember what sleep is.
Other than that, things are going swimmingly! Hah. DD#1 is really sweet with DD#2, DH has really stepped up and helped out with DD#1, and I totally love spending time with my girls. Trying to enjoy even the tough times as I'm pretty sure we're done having kids.
