I didn't want to thread jack, so..
@V&G101808 or any other Moby users.. how do you put the Moby on? I thought I had it down, but the last few times it loosened up shortly after I put it on, or was too tight the next time.. I feel like an idiot, but getting it on has discouraged me from using it :-(
Any advice/tips are welcome!
Re: Moby wrap tips
Since the Moby can be so stretchy I can understand why it's hard to find a happy medium...
I do the "regular" wrap - I still wear LO facing my chest. When I first place the wrap on my belly (with the tag facing forward, wrap folded long wise) and I wrap it up around my shoulders I make sure to do this part pretty tight. When I bring the wrap over my shoulders and back down into the belly panel - I tighten them again. I pull the shoulder straps forward so that they are pretty tight against my back.
I've found this the best way to keep him at my chest level without sagging. And I'm sure to always tie the end portion on pretty tight so it keeps his butt up and provides good support.
Hope that makes sense!

When I mentioned chest like a watermelon in OU, I meant it literally....I'm a freakin GG now. So if I wrap her low my back hurts but if I get her up on my chest she sticks out further than my 9 month belly did.
I totally understand what you mean by the belly part riding up. It happens to me, I try to pull it back down a little but ultimately it doesn't have to be very low. Once you get the baby in you can adjust it as needed to cover his/her back and bottom.
I perch baby over my shoulder and slide him into the panel that's underneath (the bottom part of the X across my chest). Slide him in, pull the straps so they cover his bottom and up his shoulder. Then put him into the 2nd strap. Then the tummy panel comes up and then I tuck his feet under the tie.
It isn't very quick which is why I asked for a ring sling for Christmas
I've read on multiple sites that once the babies got bigger the Moby just wasn't as great as a carrier as it was when they were smaller.
