Major problem with an episode of Friends

The one after vegas, when Ross and Rachel got married. They wake up in bed together and both have permanent black ink on their faces, but when they go down for breakfast, it's gone.

Wasn't the whole reason they got so drunk because Rachel was too embarassed to leave the room and there was no way to remove the ink?! How did they remove it so easily in the morning then??

I'm so bothered by this.
