Okay, red velvet cake insanely delicious.

I never intro-ed, I don't really read them either.  Instead I put my foot in my mouth super early on (UO post with the cult chick) spewing about kindness, supporting each other, and blah blah blah.  I clearly had not read enough, before I posted.  After I realized what an asshole I made of myself, I laid low and avoided any intro due to embarrassment.  I have since participated sporadically, when I have something to contribute, but as a FTM I don't have a whole lot in that department.

FTR: My views have since changed since my naive first post.  I enjoy the honesty and snark, would have gotten bored within a few days if everything was rainbows and unicorns.

I feel you. I know we're not half way through any interaction, just this pregnancy. I'm in a birth month group on Facebook too. Just excited to be past the new intro phase.

No, but seriously, I had the same thought the other day when I noticed so many "intros." I understand when you introduce yourself to a new board when you're 6 weeks pregnant like most of us did, but announcing your pregnancy to a bunch of strangers at 20 weeks? Just jump right in. Nobody needs proof that you're pregnant with a shot of your baby's balls.

that's really cool. i've been a regular on another (NBR) forum for years, and some of the friends i made there i consider some of my closest friends now. a few of them even came to my wedding.

It bothers me more on my other BMB, not so much here. Because we DGAF that you had an S12 baby and now you are KU again when you haven't posted in over a year. Here, those people still have potential to become regs and everyone needs to start somewhere.

it's not. the. same.

there used to be little chewy things in there. now it's like, sprinkle things you have to mix in.

@Jules51814 Just mix them and let it marinate for a while! I still prefer my strawberry icing, though. It makes it healthier, cuz it's fruit flavored.

Yeah it was fucking heinous. Regs always get accused of being hateful, but butthurt newbies (mainly AM I PREGGLIES drive-bys) have said some of the most disgusting shit I have ever seen.

I am more annoyed by all the damn sticky threads.  Gender announcements will dye down and something else will start up. You can't sticky everything.  Don't open it if you don't care.  I don't and don't.

ETA: The only one I would love to have is a L&D Announcements like the one on Jan14.
