I read you post to any g earlier this morning and I'm still thinking about it. I'm horrified about the shield experience you had. Then I just thought ... There are different size shields! I wonder if you had a small and have large nipples, or nipples that puff up with blood flow once baby gets going.aybe you could try a medium or large size.

Also I have no experience with tounge tie, but someone posted about an upper lip tie. They said its tough to find and not thought of immediately.

I'm glad you're feeling better. BFing is hard. I'm constantly second guessing everything and we've had a relatively easy go of it. I totally hear you about the scale, I'd probably drive myself crazy with it. Hopefully you'll find a good solution in the upcoming days.
