I opened a post about this so sorry if you are reading twice but I had my A/S this week and found out that we are team BLUE!!! I also sound out that my umbilical cord has 1 artery instead of two which can be okay in most cases but a marker for chromosome abnormalities or heart/kidney defects in others. I had a fetal echo yesterday and that came back all clear. Now I am just anxiously awaiting the results of my chromosome screening bloodwork. My stress level is at an all time high which is not good for my little boy!
The rest of my scan was good though so they said my risks for other issues is low but higher than a person with a two artery cord. It's always something and now I am considered high risk.
Sorry for the book!
My favorite holiday destination is a local one- Longwood Gardens. My husband and I have been going every year since our first year dating so its a tradition now to go see their light displays.
I have so much traveling in my bucket list- I want to see it all!

QOTW: I would love love to go to Spain. The story in my family is that a Spanish solider fell in love with a native Indian of Puerto Rico and he stayed behind for her. So I would love to go to Spain and experience that part of my heritage.
@Maitaibeth I'm so sorry your having a hard time with Medicaid. T+Ps for your mom.
Sorry about your mom and all the frustration with Medicaid- they definitely do not make anything easy. I am thinking of you too!

Me: 36, anovulatory PCOS; DH: 34, fine
I used to travel a lot and it's my favorite thing to do. But I'm a stay-at-home-mom now, so without the second income money is too tight to travel much. MaiTaiBeth, we went to Scotland and it was beautiful; I'm jealous of you and BeeBee and your trips! I would love to go back. Greece is up there for me. Letsgobowlingx, we live in CO. We are in Littleton, but I used to live in Crested Butte and Vail and love it up there too! So snowy and pretty right now...

OB appt tomorrow and results of NT scan any day now. I hope to share with my boss next week if all results are ok.
I have been getting up in the night and having a hard time falling back to sleep which has been rough. I also wake up with a stuffy nose and sneezing but I am fine during the day. Growing pains in my belly are becoming more frequent and i have a hard time getting comfortable in bed. I still look like I have a spare tire but it is getting a little rounder. I also noticed a small indent in my belly below my belly button. Overall though none of this stuff is too bad. I am excited to be experiencing it and having more signs from my body that this is real!
@mwhigham22 I love reading your updates since you are about 2 weeks ahead of me. Gives me a good idea of what to expect next!
QOTW: I want to go everywhere especially Egypt to see the pyramids and Russia. We usually travel to see family for xmas so no place in particular. I love historic hotels and they are usually all decked out at the holidays. I would like to stay at the Greenbrier one day. I did the NYC at xmas time thing before and it was fun. Saw all the windows, the Rockettes, etc.
IF, 5 losses, 1 son, 1 on the way.
There are many places I'd like to see. Would love to tour around Europe! Closer to home, I love going out to the west coast of Vancouver Island. It's beautiful and everyone is so laid back.

BeeBee when you get back I am 14 weeks with one bean and we are team green. EDD is June 10th.
I am super jealous of your trip, btw! We are still waiting on our NT scan results but have decided to forge ahead with preparations. We hope to paint and pull up the carpet in what will be the baby's room this week as well as try to get a handle on the hand me downs for baby gear from my brother(he has had 7 kids!) so we can figure out what to register for. I need to talk about it with my SIL too bc we have no idea what we really need for baby! So overwhelming!
QOTW: I don't really have a holiday destination picked out, but the one time I went to Venice they were gearing up for Carnival and it was so cool to see all the lights and traditions! A dream vacation for me would either be a tropical vacation with H or I'd love to go back to Italy or visit Spain.

SURPRISE! BFP 8/8/16 EDD 4/1/17
We had our 18 week u/s Thursday, and it's a girl!!!!! I was sort of expecting boy so now we are trying to come up with girl names. The best part was seeing that she is healthy. 10 fingers, 10 toes and everything! It had been 5 weeks since our last dr appt, and I can't help it, I worry!! My OB was out of town so we saw the NP, and she told me to stop reading so much. I am not a paranoid person but it took us 3 years and about $15,000 so get pregnant, I am going to have questions!!!
We are spending Christmas back home in Mississippi this year, and honestly, there's no place I'd rather be than home with my family. I love to travel though, and the Trans-Siberian railway is high on my bucket list!
