Baby Names

Girl names

I'm trying to decide on girls name. We have 2 girls already, Emma Grace and Lillian Faith. I tend to like more traditional, classic names, even though they are incredibly popular right now. My husband recently heard of a name that he loves but I'm not sold on it. It's a South African name. Elsje. Pronounced EL-sha. Like Elisha but without the i. I like it but I'm not sure how it works in the sib set or if that should even matter. Opinions?

Re: Girl names

  • Sounds very pretty but the spelling and pronounciation issues would be a huge pain, and yes, it sounds off in the sibset but not hugely so.

  • I don't think it fits with your subset very well. I like the PP suggestion of Elsa tho.

  • I agree with PP, I prefer Elsa.

  • I don't really care for it and seems weird with your sibset.
Suggestions that would be good with your daughter's names:

    Claire
    Amelia
    Violet
    Louisa
    Margaret (Maggie)
    Lucy
    Genevieve
