*update 12/11*
Excuse the paragraphs, mobile bump is so hard! Today we're safe. LO is staying in for another day. We had NST's this AM and she was great. We had an US, and fluid is the same as yesterday, so now we go day by day. Tomorrow we check again. My OB has a surgery tomorrow at 8am, he said he'll come see me tomorrow around 10-11am. We repeat NST's and U/S tomorrow. If fluid drops, its delivery day. LO is still breech, that is likely to not change since she has no fluid to flip. DH is spending the night with me. My mom stayed last night and helped me out so much. I'm sort of anxious and want her here already. I feel like day by day gives me so much anxiety because we want/need DH to work as much as possible until she's here. My plan is to stuff my face, that will buy me 6 hours until I clear my belly, and wwill buy him time to get here. I feel bad, poor dh, I know it must suck to worry everyday if its D-Day or not. I am coming to terms with the csection situation. I'm strong, aand will get thru it. I have a strong support system so I'm grateful for that.

Thank you all again. You ladies seriously make this hospital stay much better. Will keep ya updated!

So we've been doing NST's since I've been here, and they look totally good. She's reactive, and all the docs say it looks beautiful. MFM team came in today and did a U/S to monitor fluids, which dropped again. They think I may be leaking when I pee. Fluid right now is btwn 2.5-4.7.

My OB came to visit me, said that baby looks good. She has no bladder problems, no breathing problems, but fluid being low can cause these things. He said if the fluid drops at all by tomorrow, LO is coming home tomorrow via c-section because she is breech. If my fluid doesn't drop, we take it day by day until she gets here. Either way I'm not leaving until our princess is here.

I got my second steriod shot for her lungs today. I'm BEYOND nervous. I know this is what's best but I am a perfectionist and this wasn't in the plan. Although things never can be written in stone with pg, I have anxiety beyond belief. I told DH to spend the night at home tonight. I'm not in a L&D room, and this room has an uncomfy recliner. I want him to get a good nights sleep before the maddness. If we do go for the csection tomorrow, it'll be in the evening.

I'm NERVOUS yikes!!!

Re: *update 12/11* Update on LO & I

  • So glad to hear your baby is still doing well. Fx she gets to keep cooking a few days or weeks longer but if not a 33/34 weeks preemie still has a very good outlook these days. Hang in there!

  • So glad to see an update- I've been checking back to see what's going on. That's great that baby is good and you got both steroid shots for her lungs! I'm sure it's super scary not knowing what will happen and having to take it day by day. I also am a planner and struggle with not having things go as I imagined- it's tough! But I guess just try to focus on all the small victories and take it one day at a time. Sounds like they are taking good care of you there. Lots of positive thoughts your way!

  • Glad to hear baby is doing well and that you're being watched so closely. Hopefully you can keep her in awhile longer! FWIW, if she does need to be delivered tomorrow, my perinatologist told us that babies between 32-34 weeks typically have very good outcomes! We're planning for our babies to arrive by 34 weeks. Sending more T & P's your way!

  • Hang in there mama. I had my LO early and though it was not in my plan he was born healthy. We did some NICU time which was emotional but he was in the best hands. Sounds like your baby girl is a fighter and you are doing everything you can. Huge hugs.
