  • I like Gavin and Max. Instead of Greydon, would you do Greyson?

  • Can't do Grayson....I have a niece named Grace. To me Grayson sounds very feminine anyway. Grayden sounds more masculine, like a used to be surname turned first name. It sounds much more strong to me.
  • Love Corbin, Zeke and Walter!

Totally understandable. Though Greyson literally means "son of the grey-haired one" :)

Grayden/Graden -- No.  It's not a real name, and it's part of the "Aiden/Jaden/Caden" trend.

Hudson -- Geography names are nms, but this one has the added disadvantage of having the syllable "hud" in it.  Rhymes with "dud."

    Corbin -- Like it

Jethro -- Once Beverly Hillbillies used this for a character, it can't be used on a real person.  That show is still too much on the cultural radar screen to use this name for anyone other than a pet.

Gavin -- Okay, but a little snooty sounding.

Walter -- Seems very "old man" to me, but could be cute, if you're into the whole "old man name" thing.

Tobias -- I really like this name!

Zeke --   If you use Ezekiel as the name, this becomes a great nn!

    Max -- Cute. Not bad.

    Ezekiel -- See above.

Titus -- This is sort of a less common version in the same vein as Tobias.  I like it.

  • Your feedback is really helpful! Thanks! We have a gender ultrasound in 3 weeks and I'd love to have a name chosen by then.
  • I love Gavin, kind of biased though ;-)
    I also like Tobias
  • I like Corbin, kind of in a guilty pleasure kind of way.

Walter and Max(well) are my picks.

  • Tobias is my favorite, but I like Gavin and Max as well. Corbin, Walter, and Titus are fine, just NMS.

Jethro, Ezekiel, and Grayden are not good.

I loooove Jethro, but then I tend to like obscure boys' Biblical names. NCIS got me into this one, and I'd think of Jethro Gibbs before I thought of Beverly Hillbillies. I'm a bit younger than most people here, still a teenager, and I don't think very many people my age or younger understand would associate it with such an old show. It still has a little bit of hillbilly connotation, though.

Also really like Tobias and Walter. Titus is a great name but might be odd on a real child.
