Kefir?

Does anyone here give your LOs Kefir?  DS drinks WCM fine (and he's still BFing), but he has been refusing yogurt for 2 weeks now, even though he has been eating yogurt daily for the past 6 months.    I'd like him to get the benefits of yogurt (the good bacteria), so am wondering if I can try kefir on him?  Thinking of mixing it with WCM?

I never have a problem finding Kefir without sugar.  We buy the plain kind and there is nothing added to it.  My daughter loves it and drinks it quite often.  Why would you mix it with milk?  It's really not that thick at all.  I put it in a little cup for my daughter and give her a straw and she sucks it down.

Thanks.  The idea of mixing w/milk is just in case DS doesn't like the flavor?  Having said all this, I haven't found plain kefir available yet (at the usual stores I shop at).  My neighborhood TJs have Kefir but all 3 kinds are flavored (added sugar).  I haven't checked out WF yet.

Gosh, why didn't I think of it???  Thanks for the suggestion and I'll give it a try!

A friend of mine told me that she is able to get plain Kefir from her Trader Joe's.  Perhaps I'll call my neighborhood TJ to see if they stock it normally or not.
