NBR-When it rains it pours!! LONG

Just a vent bc I have been having a crappy past few days. UGH just need to vent.
1. We drove 2 hours Friday to go see my niece's dance recital. We stayed overnight and went to start the car around 12 to leave the next day. (It was a lovely 2 degrees). My car did not seem warmed up at all after 15 mins but we carried on and started on our way thinking it was just cold out and it would warm up. We got as far as the gas station and my cars temp gauge was showing like it was overheated. We turn around and go back to my bros and luckily found one shop that was open for two more hours. $400 and a new water pump later we were good to go and back in the car and on our way. Then my car wouldnt go faster than 55 on the freeway it was like stuck in gear. The whole way home I was thinking man Ill need a new car. I have been wanting a new one(something bigger) but have been holding out..its nice to not have a car pmt now esp with daycare expenses. We stop for gas an hour later and shut the car off and turn it back on and it seems to be working now.
2. Yesterday, get home from work and someone took out our street light bent in half, our mailbox and our neighbors and one of our trees and there is no note or anything. 10 mins later my husband comes up with the baby and has a sheet of paper that our daycare prices are going up in Jan. So awesome!
3. Just called the police to see if there were any reports from yesterday and luckily there was one and Im waiting to be called back. At least they know who the responsible person is. I dont see how one car could do so much damage though.
