P90X3

P90X3 is coming out today!  Not sure if any of you guys have heard about it, but it's only 30 min workouts rather than the hour long ones the original P90X was. Anyone else thinking about getting it?  I'm thinking about gifting it to myself for Christmas and then starting in early January.

  • I like the idea of it only being 30 minutes. But, after doing P90X, I have decided that Tony Horton may be the most obnoxious person on the planet. Lol. Can't do it.

He is really obnoxious! But so are most exercise video people I think (Jillian Michaels annoys me as well but I love her workouts). I'll grin and bear it to avoid the gym.

  • I haven't tried any of them before because I have a hard time fitting them in, I might try it now that it's a half hour though, I heard you get amazing results.

  • Hmm I was considering T25 for myself after a good review from a girlfriend but DH did P90X last year and had great results.  Neither of us has time for P90X right now so maybe the 30 minute version would be good.

  • We have P90x and my husband loves it but I can never find the time to spend 60-90 minutes working out. So I am definitely considering it! Tony is super annoying but g loves working out with us when we do it. He's always talking about doing crunchy frog, wacky jacks and saying half of his toys are core synergistics toys, whatever that means!

  • I would totally do it. 30min would be easier to manage.

  • If you girls read the get healthy check-in you know I loveeee turbofire (also from beach body) and I have seen amazing results. I'm nearing the end of the program though so I'm debating which to buy next! T25 and P90X3 are on my list. Turbofire ranges anywhere from 20-70 minutes a day. The 70 minute days are awesome workouts but I feel so guilty being away from MJ that long after working all day.
  • Lovee good ole Tony! I've tried p90x and had great results.  Like most of you I am also debating on p90x3 or t25.  Tony posts clips from his workouts, challenges, motivation, and shake recipes in his Google+ for his fans.  For now I am just reading up on p90x3 more and getting a better idea of what the new workout is all about.  Here is his Google+ if you any of you are interested in keeping up with Tony!- https://plus.google.com/111136277359229870970/posts
  • I got the p90x3 and love it. I didn't do the original p90x mainly because of time. I am assuming these workouts are safe during pregnancy based on this forum but has anybody read otherwise?
  • I did insanity then focus t25, insanity not while preggers though!. Just started p90x3 and loving it, i just modify for what i feel is right for my body. Can't beat 25 or 30 min a day! No excuses! ;) My ob told me i could continue exercising as i have been but to consider that the joints get lax the farther into the pregnancy i am. So i have to be careful with not getting injured. For either workout, there's the option of muting Tony or Shaun T and only hearing music and cues.
