THE Marbee1214 update post - 11:50pm/8am EST update

Good Morning you lovely ladies!! As we learned yesterday, our fabulous Miss @Marbee1214 is being induced today!!Her doctors looked at her blood pressures, and said to baby Olivia


They gave her cervadil last night, and she slept a bit...

but now shes not feeling so well. She just got some Zofran, so hopefully that will help.

The contractions are coming every 2 minutes, but she's still at 1cm.  They are holding off on the Pitocin because they are coming so frequently.

10:30 Update
She is still at 1cm. The contractions are still rolling, but not strong enough. They just started the Pitocin!


and she's REALLY enjoying all the cervical checks.

12:30pm EST Update

So, things aren't progressing as quickly as we would all like.. Most especially Marbs.

 

They have increased her pitocin three times.

   

so hopefully, this will bring those contractions back on strong!!

2:00 Update

Unfortunately I don't have the most best news to share. All are OKAY- please let me preface with that..  After getting the cervadil, then increasing amounts of Potocin, she was just checked again, and she's only at 2 cm.  Further, they did some more feeling around and discovered little baby Olivia is breeched.  Plan has changed, and she will be having a c-section. When I know what time, Ill update again. Take a moment, say a little prayer, and think loving thoughts for Marissa and baby.  

2:50 mini update

They are scheduled at 4:00. Unless they get delayed, my next update will be after baby is here!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY OLIVIA!!! 

6 pounds 6 ounces!!!! She's in the nicu in cpap, and apparently grunts unless momma pats her behind . Momma and baby have been having some good skin to skin time, and momma is pumping. In mommas words- "oy...long day". All appear to be well though!

 

But once again- BABY GIRL IS HERE!!!!!  

Bring on the wine!!!!  

Sex!  

and drugs!  

Okay.. maybe not the drugs part. But for realsies.. CONGRATULATIONS MARBIEEEEEE!!!!!!!

8:00am Update

All are well this morning.  Olivia is still on the CPAP, but they already mentioned potentially taking her off later today. Nurses are really happy with her pumped milk supply, and she hopes to attempt breastfeeding today. She says her typical back pain is actually worse than her incision pain, so that's "good".

My thoughts are definitely with her. Especially because we are so close in proximity/will deliver at the same hospital. Knowing she is about 10 miles away is killing me. I'm hoping for good news all day.

As soon as I found out you were going to be induced today it kick started my nesting! MH kept asking me if I was okay last night because of how I was acting haha I don't have any reason to believe LO will come early, but can't help but think what if things aren't ready for when s/he arrives??
