Car Seat Test

Hello! Quick question. We are supposed to be going home today but baby A failed the car seat test. We are still waiting on the pedi to come in but I was wondering if anyone else had this happen and what options they gave you? Thanks in advance!

One of mine failed the test in the last 5 or 10 min. A medical suppl company rented us a special car bed. Was $30 for 3 months. They even delivered it to the hospital. We were scheduled to retest at one month. The test should have been today but had to be rescheduled due to several babies being born today & the nurses are too busy to leave the nursery. The car bed is about the size of a dish pan or kitty litter box. Its padded & has a harness. She just lays down in it. We were instructed to not have her in an upright position for too long and to not use any bouncy seats or other semi upright devices. A few times we have sat her in the rock n play for minutes while grabbing a bottle or going to the bathroom. I was really upset when she failed. Thought something was going to be seriously wrong. We haven't had any other issues. Ped said its really more of a precaution.
