My DH just took our toddler DD back to her crib, but may have ended up in the spare bed b/c he didn't come back. We consider this to be a phase and are humoring it. DD has shown increasing interest in her toddler bed but we're not ready. When DS was born 2w ago, DD got up once every night crying inconsolably; now she is STTN every other day and when she does wake up she goes back to sleep easily with us; I expect improvements to continue.

Yes, OMG we are going through the exact same thing. DD1 is 20mo and has spent the better part of 2 weeks being a complete nightmare at night. She's STTN the past two evenings but I've been so stressed out about how long this is going to last. I have no advice but I can completely commiserate.
We use the supernanny stay in bed technique. It works great for us as long as we are consistant with it DD does great. We also have been using a white noise machine in DD's room to help drown out the noise of DS.
