Update: I had a long talk with him tonight after my mom came over to relieve me for a couple hours so I could go pick up some new meds for the baby. The doctor thinks she might have colic which explains everything. When I called with my concerns today they also mentioned she's not gaining as much weight as she should, no crap! She's been throwing up about an oz to half oz for every 3 I feed her so they want to see us for weight checks now. They also put her on reflux meds. DH said he'll stay home from work on Thursday and take LO all night on Wednesday so I can get some rest and only wake to pump. He's downstairs right now with her so I'm getting some more time off. She screamed for like an hour with my Mom too! I'm also going to eleminate dairy, broccoli, onions, tomatoes and garlic from my diet hoping that will help with her tummy problems.
Just an FYI, she now sleeps in a RnP on the floor. I listened to everyone advice and she's not in the crib in her RnP.
Uhmmm
My thoughts exactly... Are you saying your baby was sleeping in the RnP IN her crib?!
Yeah I remember she posted that the other day and we were all wtf, but don't remember if she followed up with a rationale for why. Her doc wanted her to quit having the baby sleep in the swing.

Ohhhh this is her. It's all making sense now. From what i can remeber her doc wanted the baby in the crib and nowhere else. Doesn't help that she has a whack job for a pediatrician.
So glad to hear you are getting help. Good for you for asking for it, and knowing your limits. I'd much rather read this knowing you are working through your issues rather then keeping things bottled in for fear of being flamed, and never fixing things. Being a FTM is hard, add colic and a helpless father, and it's damn near impossible. You want to do things right for your baby and you're working through these issues, that makes you a good momma. No one is perfect. I'm also glad to hear the dr is helping with colic and your hubby is stepping up. Hang in there, it gets better!
