Kombucha brewers?

I figured I'd have the best luck here out of all the other boards if I had any luck at all. I don't know many others who brew and I'm on my second batch. Google is no help. Can one of you tell me if this is normal? It's day 6 and I don't remember my last brew looking like this you know, so... Splotchy... I hope the picture showed up. Any ideas?

I think at first it's more intimidating than difficult. I had no problem this time, well I thought. Ha! But my last batch turned out great!

It looks normal. My husband has been brewing kombucha for about six years. I showed the pic to him.

It looks like baby SCOBY and bubbles to me.
