When to be done prepping?

I read somewhere to try to be totally done prepping everything by 28 weeks for multiples. As in, done with the nursery, washing all the clothes and bags packed. That seems early to me. Thoughts?

    Thanks. We have the room almost done, the carseats and cribs are ordered and I have a breast pump ready to go. I guess I need to really get on the rest of it. Lol

    We had the big stuff purchased mid 2nd tri, iirc. We started clearing out the office to make it their room around 29-30w (well, H did). They came at 34w and spent 13 days in the hospital, and it was during those two weeks after they were born that we did the majority of the "little stuff".

    I can't do stuff too far ahead. I don't know if it's superstition or procrastination, but I just couldn't do it. It's totally my hang up.

    I want to have everything done by 30 weeks!  I told family this and now I am currently having a shower at 32 weeks and 34 weeks... I sure hope that I keep them in longer soo I can have these showers!  I tried to tell them there is a possibility I could deliver early or be on bedrest and they just dont want to listen lol ..

    TTC SINCE 7/2010, BFP-10/2010 ended in miscarriage 11/2010 : (.....
    Progesterone level 4/2011= 11.29. SA normal. HSG normal.
    8/11 Clomid 50mg=BFN progesterone level 35,
    10/11 Clomid 50mg =BFN progesterone level 31,
    11/11 Clomid 50mg=BFN progesterone level 12,
    12/11 Clomid 50mg=Progesterone 31
    01/12-Break from meds-BFN
    Feb-cd3 blood work FSH(5), AMH(0.56) 02/12 Break....
    03/01/12-Clomid 50mg with IUI #1=BFN.
    04/01/12-Another round of clomid with IUI#2=BFN.
    5/8/12-Diagnostic Laparoscopy-found minimal endometriosis and small fibriod.
    June and July-much needed break
    August-Bravelle 75 with IUI#3- BFN
    September-Bravelle injects with IUI #4-BFP!! MC 10/7/12 : ( Sonohysterogram-Normal
    December- Bravelle(3 good follicles & E2 1252) with IUI#5 BFFN :*(
    July IVF #1- BFP! : )  Beta #1-245, #2- 703, #3- 1655, #4- 3553 YAY!  Praying and Praying this one sticks around!
                      1st U/S scheduled for Aug 23rd!  
    Twins!!
    We are having a BOY & a GIRL !!

    I'm an early prep kind of person so I plan to start packing hospital bags and an overnight bag for DS in the next couple of weeks (27 weeks now). When it comes to everything else, we have very little done. I keep joking we're still a little in denial about twins :). I'm starting to feel a little twitchy about this and made a list of the things we have to get done in the next couple of weeks (like buying a second car seat - finally ordered that!). I hope to start on more of the little things in January.

    I'm 29 weeks and still haven't packed my hospital bag. Think I might wait a couple more weeks to do that. We have mostly everything ready besides a few last minute purchases to make like the 2nd car seat, arms reach co sleeper and breast pump which I'll be getting by the end of this week. So I'm hoping by 30 or 31 weeks everything should be ready!
