Vent: Sick of going to the OB!!

I have had elevated BP and trace protein my urine so I'm being monitored closely.  All my blood work and my three 24 hour urine collections have come back great.  My BP has been good for the past week and a half, but I still have to go in on Wednesday after going today.  They want to monitor my BP, have a BPP, and an NST.  I love seeing my little man and will do anything necessary to make sure he's okay, but every time I have to have an u/s I have to take a half day off school because I can't get an appointment after 2:30. I feel bad leaving the firsties so much and having to plan for a sub is a big pain, but I guess I have to do what I have to do for my little guy!

Boo, that would be frustrating!!  I sometimes feel like a slacker at work just telling my boss my Dr appts that are coming up, between the OB and Endo, it seems like at least once a week I'm bailing on some meetings, but dealing with a sub would be really sucky

It'll all be worth it in a few weeks!!

Urgh that just sucks. I'm so happy that my doctor takes appointments starting at 6:30 am so that I can go in before work!

I know how you feel! For all of 2nd trimester I was there at least once a week. I felt like I lived there! Now I am doing 2 week appointments and it feels so long between appointments. Hang in there...we are almost done!

Do you think it would be rude for me to ask if I can come once a week? I've been monitoring my BP at home and they are happy with those numbers. Little man is doing really well. He's passed every BPP and NST we've had.

You could always ask, and at least discuss it with your OB.
