Stupid dog

One of my MILs doxies got herself stuck under our deck. She dug a hole to get in and for some reason can't get out. My MIL spent an hour trying to get her out and is freaking out. DH is pissed because he's probably gonna have to pull up a couple of boards when he gets home. So until then, I get to hear her bark and cry for the next at least 4 hours.

Could you get a shovel and dig out a bigger hole where it would be easier for her to get out?

Sad, can you get her to come out of the hole that she dug to get in? Maybe using a favorite treat to lead her to the hole.

She tried the treat thing already and she's not coming out. I just wish my MIL would wait until DH gets home. She's going to borrow a shovel since we don't have one, but DH is going to be more pissed at the mess she's about to make. He'd rather pull a board up that he can nail back down.
