puffy/swollen areola?

OK - woke up this am with about an inch sized swollen puff, on my right areola. Seems to stop just before the nipple (the nipple doesn't appear swollen). 

Not throbbing. Slightly tender but the breast is sore when I lift and poke around cause my nipples/boobs are sore at the moment anyway - but that goes for the left breast too and it's not swollen.

I'm 39weeks.  Did anyone else get this??

Probably a blocked duct. Warm shower and a massage.

I guess this is likely the case! I just figured since no milk yet, it wouldn't happen.

This happens somewhat frequently to me. I second the massage recommendation.

A boob massage! I don't know why but that makes me laugh. Mine are so gigantor right now I can't even imagine.
