My week of whine and suggested pairing.

So thankfull to be almsot home...but, of course, need to whine a little, seeing as how my week was filled with:

-Trip back home to Fort Worth for the death of my step mother and to help my father plan the funeral
-over 15 hours logged in the funeral home
-visit to the ER for contractions and low kicks (all okay!)
-got snowed in hotel with family and 2.8 year old for 3 days (we were able to have the service still)
- took a header to nose from DS in the middle of the night, major bruising remains
- cancelled flights, transferred flights
- car at one airport, arrived at another
-etc., etc.,

Suggested pairing: skip good wine and head straight to the hard stuf

Actual paring: water and death stares to my husband who enjoyed a pre-flight, top shelf, margarita

Oh how awful! I am sorry for your loss and for all the crap that followed. FWIW, I would have poured that drink in DH's lap if he tried to drink it in front of me.
