MTHFR mutation

Soooo, after requesting and looking over my records from the RE I just broke up with to take to my new RE, I found out that I am heterozygous for a mutation of a1298c according to my recurrent pregnancy loss panel. Old RE told me everything was perfect in that blood work, I'm not so happy right now! Even if it is not a problem I feel I should've been told. I am very interested to see what the new RE has to say about it on Thursday. Does anyone here have any experience with this mutation?
Married 8/2009, TTC since 4/2010
ME: 30, DOR- Low amh, normal fsh/afc DH: 30, morphology issue
IVF #1- BFN
IVF #2- BFP!!! Beautiful baby girl became an angel on 2/6/13 at 17.5 weeks due to PPROM/IC
IVF #3- New RE... February March 2014! 8r/6m/6f. Transferred one and have one frostie! BFP! EDD 12/7/14

    I have a mutation in this gene also but mine is the c677t mutation. I take folgard for it., high in b6, b12, and folic acid. But I think @kjf114 has your same mutation (I think) and she is on a different vitamin than the one I am on. She may have more I for than me. Have you had your homocysteine levels checked?

    Low heartbeat on 10/7 86, lower heartbeat on 10/11 76, no heartbeat 10/14/13. D&C 10/15/13
    Tests revealed MTHFR c677t mutation, put on Folgard.

    I believe my homocysteine levels came back on the borderline low end of normal.

    @mrsz816 the mutation you have doesn't cause any havoc (normal mutation) so mine says that's why yours might not have told you I have 2 bad copies c667t and I have to take prenate dha quatrefolic.. It doesn't hurt to ask to be on that (also all my other levels were normal)

    12/12: 50mg clomid= bfn
    1/13: 100mg clomid= bfn
    2/13: 100mg clomid= bfn 
    6/13: IVF/ICSI (x1 4AA)=BFFN ~49R, 44M, 33F, 14 frosties  OHSS
    8/13: FET #1 (x1 4AA)=First EVER BFP 4dp5dt!! d&c @ 6.5 wks, blighted ovum
    10/13: FET #2 (x2 4AA)= BFP 4dp5dt! Twins!!, perfect u/s then spontaneous m/c @ 5 wks
    11/13= RPL/Karotyping= MTHFR Homozygous c667t
    1/14= FET #3 our 2 year anniversary & hopefully our miracle

    I take baby aspirin and prescription folate....  My RE didn't put huge stock into my test results and that frustrated me a bit, but agreed to give me the prescription etc...  My homocystein levels were borderline normal.

    Me DX: Hashimotos,Hypothyroid, DOR, MTHFR,  DH: normal

     IUI #1-#4 BFNs and a few cancelled cycles in the mix.
    - poor responder
    ***Suprise BFP on 6/13/13. Natural MC @6wks 3days
    IVF#1 and 2- Cancelled due to no response on max stimms
    FET 5/20- BFP
    1st Beta- 641
    2nd beta- 2166
    Sono- TWINS!!!!
    Two Boys! Born January 2015 @36 weeks.  Healthy and no NICU!  So blessed!

    I'm Hetero for c677t, my neurologist not my RE actually put me on Neevo and Metanx because she discovered the mutation years ago, and after my first mc my RE said baby aspirin wouldn't hurt even though my homocysteine levels are normal.

Beta 1: 396 12/23: Beta 2:1666 12/30: first u/s: twins! 1/7: baby a heartbeat: 117bpm baby b: slower development, heart's beating but too small to hear it.

    I don't know anything about this but I just wanted to say that you have every right to be upset.  I almost always ask to have a copy of results so I know exactly what the doctor is looking at too.  They should have told you about this even though it wasn't a problem.

    Thanks for the input ladies. My new RE said he wants me on extra colic acid but didn't feel baby aspirin is needed.
