Feminize John for me?

Hi, first post on this board. I need some help. I'd love to name my Baby Girl in honor of my dad, for her middle name. His name is John. So far I've got Joan (meh) Jean ( mayyyyybe) and Johanna( I like, but kinda long w the names we are thinking about).
First names we are tossing around are Ruby, Annabel, Rosana.
Suggestions?

I'm a lurker but Rosana Johanna is kind of terrible.  I'm not a fan of Ruby, but I love the name Annabel.  Since it's 3 syllables I think it sounds best with a 1 or 2 syllable middle name.  Otherwise it just goes on and on.  I like Anabel Jean a lot.

I knew a girl named Mary Alexander - named after her grandfather.  And we all called her Mary Alexander.  Double name.  After about a week I got used to it and really didn't think about it much more.  Though it was a mouthful.

The only thing that comes to mind is Jonna.  I believe Jonna was on the Real World a couple years ago.  But I think its pronounced "Juh-NAY"??  Not sure if you want to go there or not, but that's what popped in my head thinking about girl names similar to John.

My H and I are huge "The Challenge" fans (my biggest GP show), they pronounce her name John-AY. I always read it Jonna...like John-uh, even though I know that isn't how she pronounces it. Anyway, it was the first thing that came to my mind when I read the post, too.


ETA: I really like Johanna, I think Ruby Johanna would be fine. Not with Rosana, though.

Jane is a feminine form of John too. Nice and simple and would go well with any of your names. I think sisters Cecilia and Annabel sound fantastic together.

I agree with pp that Rosana Johanna is a little cray cray.  Makes me think of Roseanne Roseannadanna.  You gotta love Gilda.

I know it's not a popular name, but I adore Joan. It was top on my list for ages, the only reason it's not is that H has another favorite. I also like PP's suggestion of Jane.

Janeen - I believe it is feminine for John in Italian. I have a friend with this name and I seem to remember her mom telling me that.... This is how she spells it.

There is a little girl in my class named Johnessa, after her dad John. She pronounces it Janessa (or whatever the traditional way is)

I love Joan, I think it is such a strong girl name. And Mad Men has made me fall in love with the NN Joanie. I think Ruby Joan or Annabel Joan would be very nice.
