Anyone else with a pessary for IC

So my DS was born at 27 weeks and I'm now 25+4 with twins. Because of my hx I've been getting weekly U/S since 22 weeks for cervical length. Yesterday it was 1.1cm (2.5 a week ago) with significant funnelling. I had a pessary inserted to help support my cervix, and got a dose of steroids (my second is this afternoon). I'm still on MBR at home.

Any other pessary experiences? Like everything else with twins there doesn't seem to be a lot of research.

I don't have any firsthand experience but a mom of twins just posted on a Facebook page I am a part of about a pessary tonight! I had to look it up as I had never heard of it.. Anyways she had one placed at 24 weeks due to a failed cerclage. Her twin boys were born at 35 weeks and after 2 weeks in the NICU they are both home and doing great! I hope that gives you a little piece of mind! Good luck!

Thanks @Babymaxwell513 Since it seems to be a newer practice I hadn't really heard of anyone with first hand experience. It's nice to hear a successful outcome!
