Any input on stonybrook midwives?

Hi there,
So i was wondering if anyone had some insight to the stonybrook midwives- i went to the open house with my husband and we really liked the feel we got how they are all for supporting you thru a natural labor/delivery, we liked the facilities, pretty much everything- there is just one thing i didnt expect- is that you cant just have one midwife thru your whole pregnancy and delivery- this is just a really new idea for me since ive had the same OB/GYN for years- and the thought of having a different midwife for every prenatal appt/ and not knowing who is going to deliver the baby just seems alittle weird to me. Has anyone used these midwives? What did they think?
