My cousin is Genevieve and we call her Evie, so that's my pick.

I have a Genevieve. I planned to call her Vivi, but it just didn't fit once she was born. Now we call her G or sometimes Gigi, but mostly just Genevieve or her other nn, Nuggie (don't ask).

I agree with pp though that it is such a beautiful name, so why shorten it. We only do it out of necessity. For instance, she is ALWAYS G in text messages!

I said Genna (or Jenna, haven't quite sorted that out yet) because that's what we call our Genevieve.

DH and I did contemplate Genevieve at one point (but we're Team Blue so it's definitely out now!), and would probably have gone with Ginny.
