Some words and phrases, here and there. But not enough to fully get what they were saying. The worst is that we know our names in Irish, so when they would say them, we knew they were talking about us! 

I begged my grandmother to teach me Gaelic (Scots Gaelic). Then she finally told me the only words she knows are curse words. Apparently cursing is much more colorful and easier to do in gaelic. She isn't actually directly from Scotland, she is from a Scottish community in Canada where people still spoke it while she was growing up.

HAHA sorry I know it does look a little like that now that you mention it . This was my user name for the knot I HAD NO clue you couldn't change it, EVER . Then again over 2 years ago having babies and the bump was the furthest thing from my mind, just planning a wedding. Now I wish I could change it. And my DHs name is Nick , not Tony good guess though, it does look a little like that.

I bet we crossed paths at some point! I was on TK a lot before my wedding. Think I joined first in 2004 or 2005 and was married in 2006. Then I was on TN all over the place. Spent most of my time on Pets. Then came to TB in 2009. I have had way too many screen names though. I have no loyalty.

What is something unique or interesting about you? I grew up in foster care, starting at age 4 until 18. I lived in almost 10 different foster homes. My mom is an abusive alcoholic, who was in and out of recovery. I would get taken away, put in foster care then she would get clean, I would get placed back with her and she would get drunk and lose me again. Luckily, at the age of 18 I was emancipated from the state of Ohio and got to live on my own.

Anything else you want to share? I was supposed to work today, but was told that I am "ineligible to work". I had a Drs appointment yesterday and I told her that I have been working the past 10 days with no day off (worked that night too which ended up being 11 days in a row). She gave me a Drs note stating that I am not allowed to work more than 40 hours in one work week. Kinda sucks, cause I was looking forward to the overtime today..however, my body was begging for a day of rest.
