XP: Pumping with an outside sales job

Does anyone have experience pumping with a job where your office is your car? I don't mind pulling over to pump in a parking lot somewhere, but I'm wondering if my milk will be okay in a cooler for 8 hours? Any advice and tips are welcome!

Yes your milk should be okay in a cooler for 8hrs, it's fine at room temp for about 5hrs. I just wouldn't leave it in the car if it's a hot summer day. Highly recommend you get a car adapter for your pump. And you'll probably want a nursing cover (I like the bebe au lait ones). Whenever I have pumped in my car I sat in the backseat for more privacy.

Yep! I ebf both my boys for over a year and work from my car. I had a Medela pisa with a car adapter and would use nursing cover. I live in AZ so it gets hot here and my milk was always fine in a cooler with ice

I like the idea of sitting in the backseat. I have a minivan so it's pretty spacious back there and much more private than the drivers seat. I actually have to pump on the road for the first time on Monday so thanks for these tips!

Thanks! Unfortunately my back seat has two car seats and no room for much else so I'll be in the driver seat!
