Need to vent....advice needed.

So I made the mistake of telling a few people at work that I was TTC. And now it seems like they are ALWAYS asking me " Are ya pregnant yet, are you pregnant yet??" Come on what is the problem?? I kinda just laugh and say nope, not yet! But it bothers me.

I mean really?? As if this doesn't add more stress to me trying...

I am just so nice that I don't know how to say can you stop asking me that. What can or should I do, ignore it?

    It's pretty ridiculous that they keep asking when you're clearly not announcing any good news to them. I agree with Mrs.McIrish. Letting them know directly that it's a challenge will hopefully encourage them to give you some space. xo xo xo

    I would also add ...thank you for your interest but if and when I have good news I will let you know...I'm like you to nice but like mrs.mcirish you have to put some ppl in there place:)

    Yes, you will need to be blount and say exactly what you mean.  You can say something like "I know I shared with you that we are TTC, but now I need you to stop asking me about it.  When I have some news for you I will let you know."  Hopefully they get it and leave you alone.  But be preparred to have to repeat it as most people are dense and need to be told multiple times.  However, if that becomes your standard answer they will eventually stop asking because you will not be answering them the way they want. 

    Always remember that you have a right to take back your privacy at any point in time even if you were open with them initially.

    Me: 44 - Hashimoto's (under control), DH: 38 - (minor issues)

    IUIs: 2 in 2012 ... Both BFN
    IVF #1: 10/16/13 ... BFP, however it was not viable and ended in an early loss at 7weeks.
    IVF #2: Feb '14 ... Cancelled. Positive beta at baseline appt, became very early loss.
    IVF #2: Apr '    14 ... Retrieval Only. 2 embryos made it to day 3 freeze & will be batched with IVF #3 for PGD testing.
    IVF #3: June '14     ...     Retrieval Only. 4 embryos growing, all arrested before day 5. Two from April thawed, but also arrested.
    Currently benched while determining how to proceed.

    DOR (FSH 24.3)/ terrible egg quality ; homozygous MTHFR c677t
