When I was 3, and my mom was pregnant with my sister, I suggested that we name her Clown. Let's just say I got out voted 2-1 for Jacqueline. I really don't know what they were thinking.
Try not to worry too much about names at least until you find out the sex. That might take some of the stress out by not having to come up with 2 lists of names. Something will come to you eventually.
I don't think you should be too worried about it! My parents named each one of us after we were actually born and our names seem to be perfect for us, my husbands mom named him before he was born and I don't think he's name works for him AT ALL. We are planning on naming our baby after he/she is born.
Andplusalso... if I've got a girl in my belly I'm in the same boat. We had a girl and boy name picked out since we were engaged, but no idea about two girls names!

We haven't thought much about names either. No surprise here, though, because I'm a procrastinator and a total commitment phobe. I also don't like nosy people asking me about baby names and giving me their lame opinions, so not having one picked out makes it easy for me to dodge the questions.
This time we've been stringing together names of gun manufacturers and telling nosy people the baby's name will be Remington Ruger Winchester Browning B____. But now the name Remington is kind of growing on me...... :-?

I'm right there with you OP. We have NOTHING. I told DH last night that we really need to start thinking about names now that we know baby is a girl. We are totally stumped. All of the girl names I used to like have become too common, so we are starting from scratch. Here's hoping we have a name before this LO makes her grand entrance in 22 weeks!
Do you like any of the names of your or DH's parents, grandparents, great grandparents? You may stumble along a cool old name with asking your mom and IL's what their family names are. I told both my mom and MIL I liked old fashioned names and they had some good ones from their great grandparents. You don't have to go with any of them but maybe you will get some ideas.
I have heard if Remington. A boy I think. Remy was the nickname. Personally I think the NN Ming is underrated.
I really am coming to like Remington, but DS's middle name really is Browning (family name, not gun company), so I think Remington would be a little too redneck for my family to handle. I do like the nickname Remy, though. DS's nickname was Baby Wolverine when I was pregnant, so it would be cool to have a Baby Gambit too (after Remy/Gambit from the X-Men).

I love both but can't use either name so I'm trying to vicariously name other babies
