Single mom...

...just for two weeks! DH and I are fine. Couldn't resist the gotcha...

DH will likely be going out of state for his job for two weeks next month, which means I'll be playing the part of single mom while he's gone. I'm terrified! I barely find time to get things done while I have him here to help! Any tips frim single parents, or anybody else who regularly has to do it all?

Don't worry about getting everything done and try to get out of the house with your baby often. It starts to feel sort of prison like when I'm home alone too long and don't get out. Think about hiring a babysitter for an afternoon to give yourself a little break or to do some chores at home. You'll do great! And also your H should bring home a nice bottle of wine for you at the end

Personally, my DH makes more of a mess than my kids did at this age, so when he left I found it easier to keep up :-P

That being said, I agree with pp. Lower your expectations of yourself, make plans, get out and do stuff. Go to library story time, go window shopping, get a bunch of books, rent some girly movies and invite some girlfriends over for a girls night playdate. Personally, I'd take full advantage of it. ;-)

My DH travels a lot for work so I play this role often.  Don't kill yourself to get everything done that you might normally do.  Also, try making meals ahead of time and freezing them or order take out while DH is gone.  I often end up running out of time to cook dinner which means I don't get around to it until 9pm. Ugh.  I second the PP about girly movies.  It's so nice for me to catch up on movies and TV that DH hates to watch.
