My uncle, whom I am close to, was diagnosed with terminal cancer last night and they're operating this morning/early afternoon. The oncologist told my mom that there is an increased risk that she or her sister may also develop it so they've been advised to see a specialist. It's hitting my family pretty hard since my grandparents' health is not the greatest (one grandpa is in ICU, my other grandpa we were told may not be with us much longer) and of course, the holidays are coming up. We are trying to get everything together and make a visit happen (we live across the country) since this was our year to stay here with DH's family for Christmas. My family would appreciate any T&P you feel led to send our way.

Thank you all! I'm still waiting to hear on the results and prognosis. My uncle's surgery was delayed till later in the day so he should be in recovery now. Thank you again.
