By request, this is a special weekly check-in is for all of us who have crossed into our 40's. We all hang out on TTC after 35, but we all know that once you hit your fabulous 40's and are TTC it is just different.

There is a regular Weekly Check In for all on this board, so feel free to post on both check ins if you like. If you are completely new to the TTC after 35 board and haven't done a formal intro please do that before posting here!

No clue. Waiting for AF after last months miscarriage.

I got "talked to" at work this week because they feel I'm not as productive as I used to be. They know nothing about this process I am going through so I kinda had to just take what they were giving me. The truth is I am less productive, cuz I've just got too much other more important stuff on the brain. I just can't focus on work and haven't been able to for some time. If they only knew, they'd prolly feel horrible. Instead I now feel more horrible knowing they are not that pleased with me. Somehow I have to get back on track.

We went and saw the "bodies revealed" exhibit over the holiday weekend. Kinda fascinating, kinda creepy.

The room/office I work in is connected to another room by an open doorway without a door, and there is a Strong Start (preschool/daycare) program which started in September in the next room, 1-4 year olds.  Maintenance was supposed to put a door up or just block it off months ago, but they haven't.  So while I sit here trying to work, type, talk to families I work with on the phone, etc. I have to listen to continuous yelling, crying, banging on drums/tooting musical instruments, and screaming, as well as the very loud-voiced instructor yelling and singing and laughing at top pitch.  If I was there with my own baby it'd be different, but having to try to ignore it while working, and try not to think about all those babies in there while I've been TTC for over a year and already lost my own, really frigging sucks!

I'm a huge fan of fantasy, big lover of books/movies such as Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, etc.  Both hubby and I are big LotR fans, so our wedding was subtly LotR themed right down to cutting our gorgeous cake with the sword Sting.  ">

Where are you in your cycle? If in the 2ww when will you test? ( Waiting to O, 2WW etc) Waiting for my follicles to grow in number, trying to keep from ovulating. 4. What type of TTC are you doing? (IVF, IUI, Natural... etc) Ivf with icsi and pgd. Clomid, follistim, menapur, ganarilex 5. Weekly Vent - Go ahead, vent on one thing that is really irking you this week, promise you will feel better after. I had 28 vials of blood taken this week for retesting clotting factor and a bunch of other stuff.

Been ttc all year, had 2 m/c's , going to try again right away but haven't had af yet after recent m/c

Hoping to cycle normally immediately. It's only been a few weeks though.

Trying naturally. My issues seem to be staying preg moreso than getting that way...

 Vent..ahh. What a week. My due date for my May loss was Tuesday, then Friday an aquaintance (my age) announced she is preg due right when my Nov loss was...and I have 3 friends due this month. I want to scream.

 name that action. I don't know, I'm so grouchy today. If the weather wasn't getting bad I'd go out for a drive alone.

Husband had his Vasectomy Reversal on Oct 31st (yeah, Halloween!...he's a great, great man) so we have been trying since he was up to BD, which was about a two weeks later. (mid November 2013) 

3. Where are you in your cycle? If in the 2ww when will you test?

Am in the 2ww or CD18 (still trying to figure out all the acronyms.... sorry if that doesn't make sense. I hope to test next week (Dec 18).

4. What type of TTC are you doing? (IVF, IUI, Natural... etc)

Natural but with my husband's recent reversal, it certainly puts us in a different category...

The COLD weather! Wow, I just moved to Ontario from Florida and this week has definitely been tough. Happy to be going back to Florida next week for the full week though!
