Weird doggie behavior and a great night's sleep!

Last night all the planets must have been aligned because my 4 month old slept 5.5 straight hours without waking - something he hasn't done in 2 months. The weird thing was that when I went in to check on him in the middle of the night (engorged boobs woke me up after 5 hours) our 60lb pit/beagle mix was curled up in the chair in his nursery. The dog ALWAYS sleeps on his doggie bed at the foot of our bed and since we've owned this chair (for 2.5 years in the living room prior to nursery) he has shown absolutely no interest in sitting in it. Also, the chair is an Ikea chair that is not at all doggie friendly

Maybe he was worried since the baby wasn't waking every 2 hours like usual!

No reason for this post, just wanted to share my glorious sleeping and weird dog activity!!

Glad you got some sleep Very curious about the doggie "night-guarding" - interesting whether this will persist.
