I lost my sweet Mama on Sunday night. She's been on hospice care for a couple of months, so it isn't entirely unexpected, but it was accelerated by a bad fall and broken hip. Her tired body could not recover from the surgery. My brother, sister and I were with her when she passed. It was really the most beautiful, peaceful passing I could have hoped for. I feel very privileged to have had the opportunity to be with her.
My doctor's office was nice enough to grant me a peace of mind doppler check yesterday. After sleeping in hospital chairs for 4 nights and not eating well or drinking much water, I was wanting confirmation that I had not stressed the baby out too much. All was well.
I'm speaking at her memorial service on Friday and would appreciate any good vibes you can share that I can hold it together. It is so important to me that I do this right. Thank you.
