Is there a thing as baby pooping too much? DS just shit himself 3 times in about an hour and a half! he gets all breast milk, and this is the first poop all day, but just wanted some verification that this is normal and he doesn't have some kind of stomach bug!

    it can be normal. if he had diarrhea it would literally be dark brown water.

    My kid has been sh*tting like a maniac since yesterday AM. He filled 3 diapers before noon yesterday and then 2 or 3 more throughout the day. Today he's had 3 or 4 full diapers. He's EBF.

    My EBF baby is a poop machine since birth. Girl fills those pants!

    We have the same thing going on here today.  Worst diapers I've seen from LO.  My pediatrician said that diarrhea would be consistently darker than regular poop and runny.  Going a lot a day is not necessarily diarrhea for babies.  Check his temperature.  If there is no fever he is most likely good.
