Ideas for snack

Hi,
I need some inspiration for some new afternoon snack ideas to send to preschool.  I usually send fruit for morning snack, lunch is usually a sandwich or leftovers along with a yogurt and a fruit or veggie.  I've been sending either hummus with veggies and crackers or cheese and crackers for afternoon snack, but would love other ideas.

  • some of the things my kids love: seeds, pumpkin or sunflower seeds the most, home made granola bars, tzatziki and carrot sticks or pita chips, popcorn, berries, cheese and crackers, nutella and banana quesadillas, and yogurt

  • Is the school nut free?  Right now his preschool provides snacks, but when he was in daycare, before one of his classmates developed an allergy things we used for snacks were:
    *pretzels and peanut butter/sunbutter/soy butter
    * string cheese
    *apple sauce
    *"trail mix" made from raisins, dried cranberries, nuts and sunflower seeds
    *cereal or granola bars
    * veggies and yogurt dip
    * fresh fruit (apples, oranges, bananas, berries, kiwi)
    * Freeze dried fruit
    * pita with hummus
    * cherry/grape tomatoes
    * rice cakes
    * dried fruit leather
