My sister announced at Thanksgiving that she's pg, which is great. They've been trying for a while and this will be DD's first cousin. So, awesome all around. She said she was about 8.5w and that she was going for her first u/s in a couple days. 

Cue internal freak out! How many times have I heard this story go wrong? Someone announces at a big family gathering and then a couple days later goes in for an u/s only to find bad news.

Well, she had her u/s yesterday and LO was there... But measuring two weeks behind. Going by her LMP she should have been 9w3d and LO measured 7w3d. Now, I know going by LMP is frequently inaccurate, but two whole weeks? I'm freaking out for her!!! I'm really hoping she just has no clue when she actually O'd. She made a big FB announcent and everything last night... I'm so, so worried for her.

 I measured two weeks behind with my second pg, and it didn't end well.

I will be sending so many thoughts and prayers her way.
I was 2 weeks behind with Ben. I still remember that ultrasound. I cried so hard, I was positive we were going to lose him... But he's here and the love of my life!

I am measuring 2 weeks behind my LMP for this pregnancy and everything is going well so far.  Huge hugs to you and thoughts and prayers that everything continues to go well for your sister.

I asked my sister what the HB was and she said it was 150. So, not bad, but not overly awesome. She's also not having another u/s until 20w... This girl is going to kill me!! I'm trying to talk her into asking for an NT scan. She said her doctor didn't even offer it to her. I'm also going to force her to borrow my Doppler! Lol

@andrea ri 80 and @mrsjessicamitchell I'm so glad you had happy endings to your stories! Hearing that makes me feel better!

Yup, my sons heartbeat hovered between 120-150 throughout my whole pregnancy. Best wishes and lots of sticky thoughts. I completely know how you feel because I do the same thing with others.

I guess I was comparing it to my 8w u/s when DD's HB was in the 170's. So maybe there's not as much to freak out about then! Lol Maybe there's some truth to that old wive's tale that girl's HB are faster and boy's are slower... Maybe I'll have a nephew!
