I just went to the 0-3 month board and read a "Rant" about a 3 week growth spurt..

and ladies...

I didn't immediately feel relieved I was away for that

I didn't "feel" that womans pain

No..

I felt nostalgic. And like I missed my that stage.  And like I completely forget the lack of sleep, the pain from recovery, the lack of routine in sleeping/eating/anthing....

I think the baby fever is about to set in again.....

Im with you!  I would love to have another one but am going to wait a little while.  Hopefully, fall next year which would work out perfectly with my work sched.

haha!  I get that way too... I miss the tiny newborn stage SO much!  I still can't wrap my head around having another baby, but I am always missing my teeny tiny baby

Me too actually but then I have a bad night and I think I don't know how I'll ever be able to do this again with another baby. I feel like I have a multiple personality disorder, I go from one extreme to another on this issue.

ha! Thats what was so surprising to me.  I mean DD always slept fine, was fairly easy but I still never LOOVEEDDD the newborn stage..in fact I don't remember LOOVVINGG pregnancy.  But it's still a shock when i read that and feel a little bit of "aww little baby cuddles" versus "SO glad I'm done with that..."

i guess this is just a gift that allows us to keep having kiddos...

Ha!  I'm right there with ya!  I know I'm not quite ready for #2 but a good friend of mine just had a baby and SIL did too.  Getting to hold those teeny tiny little newborns is just so sweet.  I miss my baby!  My DD is such a mover and shaker these days that I don't get much cuddle time.

My cousin and his wife just announced their pregnancy and she put her first "bump/bloat" picture on Facebook. I'm beyond excited for them but it truly made me miss being pregnant and the anticipation for a newborn. Especially the "who will he/she look like?" and napping on mommy's chest. Ugh. Plus, I want to try really hard to be team green next time!!
